Stream will partner on the project with Houston-based development firm AMD Global LLC. A joint venture between Stream, AMD and Diamond Realty Investments Inc., the real estate investment arm of Mitsubishi Corp., closed on a 2-acre site for the project on June 6.
The site is just west of Voss with frontage access along the Interstate 10 feeder, Gaylord and Old Voss.
Memorial Medical Pavilion will be 101,744 square feet and will have a freestanding parking garage. E4H Environments For Health designed the project, which is expected to break ground this December and be ready for occupancy in first quarter 2019.
Leasing has begun for medical office and first-floor retail tenants, and space currently is available on floors one, three and four.
“This will be an exclusive opportunity for physicians and healthcare operators alike to build out and lease clinical, surgical and diagnostic facilities in an outpatient setting,” Rob Choksi, vice president at Stream, said in a press release.
