Anessa Sillman, CPM, is a Senior Property Manager having over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, including property management, development, and construction. For the past 15 years, Anessa's career focus has been in commercial property management emphasizing complex, institutional grade, Class A office assignments. Anessa has a successful record of developing strategic relationships as well as a proven ability for reducing operating costs and increasing revenue through creative programs and strong financial management acumen. She is passionate about improving the property management industry by exhibiting an "ownership" attitude that shines through her business practices and team development.
Prior to joining Stream, Anessa was most recently a Property Manager with Cousins Properties responsible for the management of Post Oak Central, a 1.3 million square foot, Class A office campus in the Houston Galleria submarket. Anessa's leadership skills shined on this project as she successfully led a team of 15 through 4 full ownership and management transitions in less than 21 months.
In addition to executing essential property management functions, Anessa has significant experience managing multi-million dollar projects that are designed to rebuild, enhance, and/or reposition large assets (1M+ square feet). Notably, Anessa has two LEED EB-OM Gold certification projects under her belt for a total of 4 buildings that are in the 30+ age category. All were obtained with low-cost/no-cost initiatives and minimal capital investment.
She is also the founder of two popular monthly office food truck lunch fests - Tasty Tuesday in Uptown Houston at Post Oak Central, and Wheels Up Wednesday in the West Belt area (Beltway 8 & Clay/Tanner) at Beltway 8 Corporate Centre III. Each event is held once a month in the outdoor space available at each campus; and are attended each, by thousands of patrons. The events provide excellent tenant relations (at no cost to the asset) and positive market feedback.
Anessa is currently a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from CCIM Institute and the LEED AP O&M designation from the Green Building Certification Institute.
