Professional Experience
With over 20 years in commercial real estate, Derek Land serves as Head of New Markets, focusing on spearheading the firm’s strategic growth and expansion across the United States.
As a Partner in Stream Realty Partners, Land is based in and actively involved in the operations of the Austin office, which he and David Blackbird founded in 2006. Under their direction, the office has grown to become one of Central Texas’ largest commercial real estate companies, consistently ranking as one of the ‘Best Places to Work’ by both the Austin American Statesman and the Austin Business Journal.
Before joining Stream, Land led the office and industrial leasing efforts for Endeavor Real Estate Group in Austin for five years. Land and his wife have a son and two daughters. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, hunting, fishing and anything in Colorado.
