The Assistant Property Manager oversees and supports all operations of an industrial real estate portfolio in Chicago.  This role is responsible for achieving superior operational results and financial performance along with providing support to Property Management leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or successful work experience in Business Administration, Finance,  Planning or related field/industry work experience
  • CPM, RPA designation (or in progress)
  • 5+ years property management experience
  • MRI or Yardi experience
  • Detail oriented, analytical and computer, literate
  • Strong communication skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in development and management of best-in-class level of service at assignment
  • Seek to build employee teams by supporting Property Manager with training, motivation and direction for superior performance
  • Serve as point person for assignment

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bid and manage contracts/delivery for all vendor supplied services
  • Properly staff assignment
  • Resolve all day-to-day property management issues
  • Ensure all Stream best practices are implemented and followed
  • Prepare annual third party operating and capital budgets
  • Conduct routine property inspections
  • Adhere to Stream property management annual audit
  • Ensure adherence to customers’ policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and governmental agency directives
  • Maintain personal contact with all tenants and clients
  • Assist with management of financial performance of assignment
  • All other duties associated with the day-to-day operations

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree or successful work experience in Business Administration, Finance,  Planning or related field/industry work experience
