Stream is currently looking for a technology specialist who has a strong background and career in the IT field.  Diverse role will involve a wide array of technology and help desk tasks. The position will assist the information technology team providing technology support to internal employees.  Ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with a preferred background in help desk support, telephony, and network administration.

  • BBA, BA, or BS in IT or business-related field or IT Technical Certification
  • 2+ years technical experience in IT-related field
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Willingness and ability to be on-call 24/7 for emergencies


  • Provide on-site setup, configuration and technical support of computer equipment
  • Provide hardware and software support and help-desk functions to internal customers
  • Order equipment and maintain accurate records of all equipment orders and inventory
  • Install, configure and support computer network server and workstation hardware and operating software such as Windows XP/7/8, MS Exchange, Windows 2008/2012 Server Active Directory
  • Configure users, email, and network security
  • Install, configure, and support printers, plotters, scanners, internal/external drives, network interface cards, switches, routers, sound cards, video cards, RAM and other internal/external devices
  • Install, configure, and support productivity software such MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer
  • Smart phone configuration and support including iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Microsoft mobile technologies
  • Understand and configure TCP/IP network infrastructure
  • Review technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in the industry
  • Possess technical writing skills and communication skills to help create policies and procedures then implement and train
  • Cross-train in other areas as required
