The Associate role will facilitate the Stream Houston market in the development of identifying potential local, national and international companies seeking objective and thorough commercial real estate representation. As a leasing professional on the industrial team, you will receive an introduction to the all the firm’s business functions as well as instruction by senior professionals in real estate, finance, and sales. You will be expected to execute on business leads provided as well as cultivate external relationships and build a platform of new business.

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Preferred internship experience or currently working in real estate industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Self-starter who is dependable, trustworthy, and has the ability to complete tasks in an efficient and effective manner


  • Develop and retain new business for landlord and tenant representation by viewing buildings and calling and meeting potential and existing clients
  • Research business development opportunities
  • Source, manage and close commercial real estate transactions
  • Increasing real estate aptitude through self-motivation and mentoring
  • Developing a keen understanding of the real estate market through extensive research gained from real estate mediums and interaction with other real estate professionals


  • Developing a deep understanding of the real estate market by obtaining latest market and industry research, historical information and trends
  • Creating and organizing a detailed database for tenant pursuits and proactively scheduling and meeting with prospective tenants
  • Contributing in building tours, presentations, drafting proposals, and report preparation
  • Maintaining daily interaction with clients
  • Participate in firm marketing and business development opportunities
  • Performing complex financial modeling and analysis
