Information Technology Administrator

The Technology Administrator provides support in the areas of purchasing, payables processing, asset management, vendor contracts and licensing management within the Information Technology department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent degree from an accredited university or trade school
  • 1-5 years of work experience providing departmental administrative support
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Technical writing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications and mobile apps
  • Experience working with technology vendors
  • Experience or familiarity of various technology solutions (software, hardware, subscriptions)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing:  

  • Work with the Tech Helpdesk and Networking teams in determining equipment needs for all Stream offices and departments.
  • Provide quotes and obtain purchase approvals from a wide variety of managers and partners.
  • Order, receive and issue technology equipment to the Stream Helpdesk and Network Teams for deployment within the specified deadlines.

Asset Management:

  • Work closely with the Stream Helpdesk and Networking teams to ensure all workstation, networking gear and other Technology assets are appropriately tracked, including naming, assignments, warranty and valuation from receipt through end-of-life in Stream’s asset management database.
  • Provide accurate and timely asset reports as appropriate to Accounting and Management teams.

 Payables Processing:

  • Manage invoice processing for all Technology-related purchases and recurring services.
  • Code invoices as appropriate and work closely with Stream’s Accounting teams to ensure payments are processed on time and billed to the appropriate entities and departments.
  • Reconcile credit card and other statements to purchasing records.

 Vendor Management:

  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate vendor activities.

Contract Management:

  • Work closely with Vendors and Technology Department leaders in negotiation and processing of Technology-related service contracts, including software licensing, business machines, telecom equipment and professional services.
  • Ensure all services are provided as contracted.
  • Track renewal dates, notification periods and prepare notices as appropriate.

 License Management/Compliance:  

  • Track all software license assignments and audit these assignments as appropriate, providing reports as required for management and auditors.

  • Bachelor of Business Administration or equivalent degree from an accredited university or trade school
