SAN DIEGO, CA – November 18, 2021 – HD Supply will stay in Santee, California until at least 2028 after renewing its lease today at 101 Riverview Parkway. Stream Realty Partners represented the landlord on the transaction.
Bret Morriss, Managing Director of Stream San Diego, negotiated and closed the lease renewal on the 72,876-square-foot administration and sales office. HD Supply, one of the largest industrial distributors in North America, was recently re-acquired by The Home Depot, but the brands currently remain separate entities. The company moved into the East County in 2013.
“This property is truly unique in its quality, location, parking, and access to amenities and a talented workforce,” Morriss said. “It is no surprise HD Supply recognized these benefits and decided to commit to this space and to the East County submarket with an early renewal despite ongoing national COVID-19 uncertainties.”
HD Supply officials agree the property’s access to a loyal employee base, above-market parking ratio, and easy walkability to dozens of amenities in adjacent retail centers make it an attractive location. The site also is one of the only Class A suburban office buildings in East County San Diego. It features a vibrant open environment with multifunctional workspaces, employee hubs, private offices, conference rooms, and designated areas for taking breaks and exercising.
HD Supply employs more than 250 people in the Santee location, making it a top 5 employer that provides an economic boon for the city’s more than 57,000 residents.
