Professional Experience
Adam Ryan, leader of Development Services and Investment Sales for Stream’s Nashville office, is responsible for managing all aspects of design and construction with an extensive background in adaptive re-use development. Joining Stream in 2022, Adam is a licensed general contractor and holds over 20 years of construction and real estate experience. He’s passionate about identifying, acquiring, and developing real estate across multiple product types, and is an enthusiast for teamwork, strategy and execution in delivering well-designed and efficient product. His projects have garnered multiple Awards of Excellence from Urban Land Institute (ULI) and AIA Tennessee.
Prior to joining Stream, Adam owned and operated an independent design and construction management firm, the Jewel Dean Company. He brokered real estate through Equitable Property Company and worked closely with Towery Development, assisting with multiple projects. Adam considers his relationships the backbone not only to success, but to its enjoyment. In that came the decision to join forces with Stream Nashville Executive Managing Director and Partner, Rob Lowe, with whom Adam has worked and known personally for 25 years.
Adam is a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he received a BS in Biochemistry. He was also a member of the 1994 SEC Champion Baseball Vols and was selected to the Southeastern Conference All-Academic Team. He spent much of the 2000’s as a published singer-songwriter.
