Professional Experience
Mayra Camarillo currently serves as Vice President of Investment Management (IM) accounting for five opportunistic commingled discretionary funds and separate account mandates, which total over $1.7 billion of equity.
Mayra’s current responsibilities range from preparing quarterly financial statements for several of the funds to leading the implementation of the Investment Accounting module within Stream Realty’s Yardi system.
Prior to re-joining Stream Realty in June 2023, Mayra worked on the fund accounting team at USAA Real Estate (now Affinius Capital) for over four years. During her time at USAA Real Estate, Mayra managed the accounting responsibilities for several industrial development closed-end funds, and one multi-family open-end fund. During Mayra’s prior tenure at Stream Realty, from July 2008 to November 2018, Mayra held various leadership roles within Stream Realty’s third-party property accounting group as well as on Stream’s corporate accounting team.
Mayra graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Accounting, and she began her professional career in Dallas as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche. Mayra is licensed as a CPA in the state of Texas.
