WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 13, 2025 – Stream Realty Partners, a national commercial real estate firm offering an integrated platform of services, announces that the American Dental Education Association (ADEA)—“The Voice of Oral Health Education” and the sole national organization representing more than 65,000 oral health faculty, staff, administrators, students, residents, and fellows—will relocate its Washington, D.C., headquarters to District Center at 555 12th Street NW.

The non-profit has signed a lease for 30,000 square feet–half the fourth floor–and is expected to move from its current location at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) headquarters at 655 K Street NW in the first quarter of 2026.

ADEA’s decision to relocate to District Center, a Class A, 12-story office building in the heart of the East End submarket, was driven by a desire to reimagine its workplace environment and provide staff enhanced access to both building and neighborhood amenities that promote connectivity, engagement, and well-being.

District Center, owned by a joint venture between MetLife Investment Management and Norges Bank Investment Management, offers 850,000 square feet of premier office space with a host of desired indoor and outdoor features. Amenities include an expansive atrium lounge with hospitality-inspired seating, a state-of-the-art fitness center with group and personal training, lockers, and showers, and ample bicycle storage.

The rooftop Sky Lounge boasts 3,391 square feet of enclosed conference and entertainment space, along with outdoor terraces overlooking 12th Street. Folding glass doors allow tenants to transform the space for events and gatherings. On-site retail includes Tosca Ristorante, Celadon Spa, Saks Fifth OFF Fifth, Nordstrom Rack, and Potbelly Sandwich Works.

Stream Managing Directors Andy Eichberg and Matt Pacinelli, along with Executive Vice President John Klinke, represented the landlord in the transaction. Susan Thomas and Thomas Brown of CBRE represented ADEA.

District Center is currently 95% leased, with remaining availabilities ranging from 3,500 to 6,500 square feet.
