H-E-B has purchased more than 24 acres near the intersection of Roosevelt Ave. and Loop 410 on San Antonio’s South Side, according to Bexar County deed records.

H-E-B has snagged more than 24 acres near a planned retail development on the city’s South Side, county deed records show.
The San Antonio-based supermarket chain does not have immediate plans for the lot, H-E-B spokeswoman Dya Campos said. Campos would not say how much the company paid for the property, which sits on the northwest corner of the intersection at Loop 410 and Roosevelt Avenue on the city’s South Side.

Dallas-based Stream Realty is marketing the intersection as a potential mixed-use development including retail and multifamily housing on behalf of limited partnership WE-Roosevelt, according to Stream Realty’s website. WE-Roosevelt sold the 24-acre lot to H-E-B.
