Professional Experience
Carter Byrnes joined Stream in 2022 as an Executive Vice President in the Northern Virginia office, where he specializes in office tenant and landlord representation and leads the firm’s healthcare real estate services. Licensed in both Virginia and Maryland, Carter brings nearly two decades of experience and a proven track record of delivering value to clients.
Before joining Stream, Carter spent more than 18 years at CBRE, rising from Senior Associate to Senior Vice President. He co-founded the Northern Virginia leasing team and established a healthcare practice group from the ground up, negotiating more than 3.1 million square feet of lease and sale transactions valued at more than $525 million. Earlier in his career, he served as a Market Analyst with Insignia/ESG prior to its merger with CBRE in 2003.
