Professional Experience
John Bonnell joined Stream in 2023 and serves as Managing Director for the Phoenix Office Leasing Team. He is responsible for implementing innovative and creative strategies that deliver results for the firm and its clients, while accelerating Stream’s growth throughout the region. With more than 30 years of experience, John has represented institutional and entrepreneurial landlords of existing and ground-up office developments, driving value for his clients across the Arizona market.
Prior to joining Stream, John served as Managing Director for JLL’s Phoenix team, where he completed more than 3,500 leases, ranging up to 300,000 square feet and exceeding $2.2 billion. While there, John was awarded the Top Gun Achievement Award (an honor bestowed only to the top 10% of the company), the Top Achiever Award and made the Top 10 list for JLL’s Phoenix office. He was previously a Senior Vice President for Grubb & Ellis and has also worked with Insignia/ESG, Cassidy Turley, and Trammell Crow.
John is a former board member and current member of NAIOP and served as a board member for Grubb & Ellis’ Phoenix office from 2008 to 2009. John has been awarded CoStar’s Power Broker for the last 10 years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Communications from the University of Iowa.
