Professional Experience
Katie Simon is the Senior Director of IT Portfolio, Project, and Financial Management within the Shared Services division of Stream’s IT organization. In this role, she serves as the “Plan” leader in Stream’s “Plan/Build/Run” IT operating model and is responsible for establishing and leading the Program Management Office (PMO) to drive project definition, strategic alignment, prioritization, and predictable execution. Her leadership emphasizes service and support, enabling teams and business partners to succeed by providing clarity, structure, and guidance that make project delivery smoother and more consistent. Katie ensures the Project Management Office (PMO)functions as a partner to the business, helping Stream deliver on its priorities with efficiency and confidence.
Prior to joining Stream, Katie was the Senior Director of the Enterprise PMO at LURIN, where she built and scaled program management capabilities to support business transformation. With more than 25 years of experience in project management and IT operations, she combines deep infrastructure expertise with proven PMO leadership and a forward-looking approach to technology adoption. She has led enterprise system implementations, applied structured change management to maximize adoption, developed high-performing project teams, and designed tailored KPIs and dashboards to improve transparency and measure outcomes.
In addition to her leadership roles, Katie has served as a guest lecturer at SMU’s Lyle School of Engineering, where she shared her expertise on Lean Six Sigma and its application in IT and business environments.
