Professional Experience
Taye-Lyn Painter currently serves as the Director of Accounting for Stream Realty’s Investment Management (IM) platform, overseeing a portfolio of five opportunistic comingled discretionary funds, totaling over $2 billion of equity.
In her role, Taye-Lyn manages the accounting operations for Stream’s discretionary funds, Stream Deals Funds, and Stream Realty Capital. She facilitates fund audits, prepares tax returns, and maintains investor communications, while also generating cash and line of credit management reports.
Prior to joining Stream, Taye-Lyn worked as an Audit Manager at PriceWaterhouse Coopers, LLP, focusing on audits of private asset management clients, particularly within the real estate industry.
Taye-Lyn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Finance from Texas A&M University, and she is licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Taye-Lyn enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, cheering on Aggie Football, reading books, and playing with her golden retriever. She actively volunteers to organizations such as Feed My Starving Children, and maintains her involvement as a lifetime member of the Mays Business School Alumni Network.
