Professional Experience
Tom Porter serves as Vice President within Stream’s Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, and Distribution platform. With more than 20 years of experience, Tom specializes in guiding occupiers through the complex requirements of food and beverage and manufacturing facilities—aligning production, logistics, and operational goals with real estate strategy, site selection, capitalization, and project execution.
Tom leads clients through every phase of project delivery, including build-to-suit, renovation, expansion, and tenant improvement projects. His leadership integrates design, budgeting, and construction oversight to ensure operational performance and value optimization for owners, occupiers, and investors.
Prior to joining Stream, Tom served as Senior Vice President within JLL’s Industrial Project & Development Services team, where he oversaw food and beverage projects nationwide from planning and pre-design through construction and closeout. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Project Manager for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, managing complex life sciences, laboratory, and higher-education projects from concept to completion.
