Stream Awarded Leasing for Historic 115k SF Building in Downtown San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – August 9, 2021 – Stream Realty Partners (Stream), a national real estate services, development, and investment company, announced today that they have been awarded the office leasing for The Rand Building in San Antonio on behalf of Weston Urban, a San Antonio based real estate company focused on the enhancement of the urban core. Originally built in 1913 for Wolff & Marx, Co., the historic, eight-story property was acquired by Weston Urban in 2013, at which time they commenced a complete interior and exterior renovation to establish it as San Antonio’s premier creative office space targeting tech occupants.

Scott Ferguson, Vice President at Stream, said, “Weston Urban has strategically positioned this as a one-of-a-kind asset in San Antonio’s competitive office market, and our world-class marketing resources and deep industry expertise will provide opportunities for innovative, business-minded occupiers to be part of this unique environment.”

Located in San Antonio’s Central Business District, The Rand Building is 115,289 square feet and sits at the heart of the Houston Street tech corridor, providing a home for Geekdom, the number one coworking space in San Antonio. The building currently has up to 12,500 contiguous square feet available for lease. The renovated lobby and common areas, walkable amenities and abundant parking differentiate the Rand Building from other buildings downtown.

Heath Cover, Vice President at Weston Urban, said, “As a company focused on the revitalization of downtown San Antonio, preserving and activating beautiful historic structures like The Rand Building is critical. We are excited to be working with Stream and leveraging their expertise to curate the right tenants that will thrive within and complement The Rand Building’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Stream’s Ferguson, Carolyn Shaw, Executives Managing Director and Partner, and Zander Thomas, Associate, will oversee the leasing efforts.
