Stream Realty Partners has hired a seasoned commercial real estate leader to lead and grow its industrial business in the Phoenix market.

Rusty Kennedy has joined Stream as Managing Director in its Phoenix office. In this position, Kennedy will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of Stream’s industrial business in the Phoenix market, including overseeing operations, business development, recruiting, and the execution of industrial transactions including project leasing, tenant representation, acquisitions, dispositions, and development services.

“Rusty has served as a leader not only in the commercial real estate industry but also more broadly in his philanthropic and civic endeavors,” said Tiffany Winne, Executive Managing Director and Partner of Stream’s Phoenix office. “He brings a true servant leader mindset to both. We are pleased to welcome him as a leader at Stream Phoenix and look forward to supporting his continued success.”

Before joining Stream, Kennedy served as an Executive Vice President at CBRE in Phoenix, where he has specialized in industrial landlord and tenant representation across the Phoenix market for over 15 years. His ability to engineer and implement integrated real estate solutions to solve the unique needs of real estate owners, businesses, and corporations has established him as one of Arizona’s most respected industrial brokers.

“I am thrilled for this opportunity to apply my entrepreneurial spirit to build a first-class industrial platform as part of the Stream family,” Kennedy said. “Stream’s values and devout client focus align incredibly well with what is needed and expected in this fast-paced market. Further, the platform is structured to deliver the efficiencies of scale with speed, flexibility, and resilience, providing unmatched outcomes for its clients. As a native Phoenician, I could not be prouder to introduce the Stream brand to the valley’s industrial market.”

Currently serving as chairman of NAIOP’s Arizona Chapter, Kennedy is also a board member of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority and a member of the Phoenix Thunderbirds. Before becoming a real estate professional, Kennedy golfed professionally on the Gateway and Canadian tours. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.

Stream’s industrial portfolio has over 150 million square feet in leasing and management assignments nationwide. The firm opened its Phoenix office in September 2021 as part of its national expansion plan. The company has been in rapid growth mode, having hired 347 real estate professionals across the U.S. over the last 12 months, including Winne and Nick Bialkowski, Vice President of Office Leasing.
