Professional Experience
Kyle Luby serves as Executive Managing Director and Partner, leading the Stream platform across Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Since opening Stream’s Washington, DC office in 2013, he has overseen all of the firm’s service lines across the region—including Landlord Representation, Tenant Representation, Development Services, Acquisition, and Property Management—while continuing to advise the region’s leading institutional owners on leasing strategy, deal structuring, and asset positioning.
Under Kyle’s leadership, Stream’s Washington-area platform has grown from two professionals in 2013 to more than 120 today, with more than 26 million square feet under lease and/or management, making it one of the region’s fastest-growing commercial real estate firms. Stream consistently ranks among the Washington Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work.”
Kyle has spent his entire career at Stream. He began in the Dallas office in 2005 as the company’s first summer intern and went on to join the leasing team. In 2009, he relocated to Atlanta to help open Stream’s first office outside of Texas. During his time in Atlanta, the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors recognized him as the market’s highest-producing broker under the age of 35—across all product types and service lines.
Kyle graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University, where he was a four-year starter on the football team and was named conference player of the year. He now enjoys spending time on his farm in The Plains, Virginia, with his wife, Sarah Jo, and three daughters, Mary Owen, Carson, and Jennie.
