Professional Experience

Brad Philp is a Managing Director & Partner at Stream. Brad joined Stream in 2010, and his primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading Stream’s office team, project leasing, tenant representation, and acquisition/disposition services. He is part of the Austin office team and is focused on growing the portfolio and the team while providing best-in-class services to our clients. 

The Austin Business Journal has consistently designated Brad as a “Heavy Hitter”. Since joining Stream, Brad has been involved in more than 5,333,000 square feet of executed leases totaling over $1.1 billion in total consideration. His clients include and have included: KBS, Heitman, CIM, USAA Real Co, AFIAA, Spear Street, MIG, Dividend Capital, HRPT (REIT Management & Research). He has worked on transactions with some of the biggest names in Austin, including, but not limited to: Google, Oracle, Qualcomm, Under Armor, Dropbox, Athena Health Care, Citizens Inc., Bank of America, and HomeAway.  

Prior to joining Stream, Brad worked for Forestar Group Inc. (FOR) from 2005–2010. During his time at Forestar, Brad worked as a Financial Analyst and Development Associate, focusing on the acquisition, entitlement, and development of land development projects in various markets throughout the United States.

Brad is actively involved in his community, serving as a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) and the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA). He currently serves as Board President of Travis County MUD #16 and was a past Board Member at Casner Christian Academy. Brad is involved in his local scouting troop, as well as his kids’ sports programs.  

Brad is an Eagle Scout and loves all aspects of the outdoors. He resides in Austin with his wife and three children.
