Professional Experience
John Rogers serves as Executive Managing Director & Partner for Stream’s Investment Management (IM) platform, which currently manages five opportunistic comingled discretionary funds and separate account mandates totaling over $2 billion of equity.
One of the founding members of Stream’s Investment Management team and platform, John has been an influential and steady driving force behind the team’s growth and achievements since joining the firm in 2016. In his role, John leads all debt capital markets and placement efforts nationally, manages investments and developments for the platform’s discretionary funds, sources strategic opportunities, and serves as one of six members of Stream’s Investment Committee. Additionally, John is a member of Stream’s Value Preservation Advisors (VPA) group. By leaning on Stream’s dual role as both real estate owners and service providers, the multi-disciplinary VPA team provides solutions to lenders and property owners across all asset classes and products by offering an agile platform to preserve value and mitigate loss for lenders and stakeholders that may require additional resources for handling challenging situations.
Prior to joining Stream, John worked as a member of HFF, LP’s Investment Sales team in Houston, TX, where he was involved in the sale of more than $1.8 billion in office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use assets. Before his time at HFF, John served as a Vice President with Bank of America, U.S. Trust where he oversaw lending relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals and their families. John began his career with Bank of America in its Global Corporate & Investment Banking group where he was responsible for underwriting over $5.3 billion in senior debt financing to Real Estate & Lodging and Media & Telecom clients.
John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School, and a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, Red McCombs School of Business.
