Professional Experience
Juan Lopez is the National Director, Building Engineering, providing leadership nationally. He has oversight nationally for building engineering, supports regional building leaders, along with support and guidance to property managers and building engineers throughout the firm. Juan facilitates training, technical assistance, management of facilities with engineering-only services, code compliance, environmental and hazardous waste administration, preventive maintenance system development, budgeting, and major project bidding and review.
Juan Lopez joined Stream Realty Partners in 2008. He has over 25 years of experience in building operations, specifically with Class A high-rise office buildings. Juan is experienced with critical systems, HVAC, life safety systems, thermal storage, and general construction processes. He was the assistant operations manager for a Class A high office building before being promoted to Building Operations Manager. Juan is also very knowledgeable and aggressive with regard to utility management and actively seeks out unique opportunities for owners to capitalize on incentive programs. While at the Tower at Cityplace, Juan enrolled the property in a program that generated the largest rebate in Oncor history. Juan also participated in the BOMA Office Building of the Year (TOBY) program for multiple years and in the BOMA Engineer Sub-Committee.
Before joining Stream, Juan was in the Navy, where he was responsible for outside communications, navigation, and departmental maintenance programs.
