Professional Experience
Kalimah Ashby serves as Vice President, Decommissioning & Relocation within Stream’s Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, and Distribution platform. In this role, she oversees decommissioning, relocation, and restoration projects for manufacturing and industrial clients across the United States. Her responsibilities include planning and design management, vendor procurement, exit negotiations, asset disposition, and building restoration—ensuring each project delivers a seamless transition from active operations to completion.
With extensive experience spanning commercial real estate, project management, and property operations, Kalimah has delivered multiple complex decommissioning and relocation projects for clients such as ABB, Chick-fil-A, Erasteel, and Asahi Refining of Florida. Her attention to detail and proactive approach ensure consistent delivery and long-term client satisfaction.
Prior to joining Stream, Kalimah served as Senior Project Manager within JLL’s Industrial Project & Development Services team, leading professional service delivery and maintaining contractor and vendor relationships. Earlier in her career, she held both a broker’s license in Maryland and a salesperson license in the District of Columbia, managing property operations, contract negotiations, and client representation.
