An international law firm Baker Botts LLP has decided to stay in its large office within Trammell Crow Center in downtown Dallas, with plans to rebuild its entire space within the skyscraper.
Baker Botts signed a lease totaling 104,179 square feet renewing its space within the 50-story office tower at 2001 Ross Avenue.
Earlier this month, the institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management unveiled plans to spend $135 million upgrading the tower and build a corporate magnet on an adjacent 2.66-acre development site on Ross Avenue.
The law firm wanted to be part of the evolution of downtown Dallas and the Dallas Arts District, said Tim Durst, the partner-in-charge of Baker Botts’ Dallas office.
