Stream is thrilled to announce that Carolyn Hinchey Shaw has been named a Texas Commercial Real Estate ICON by REDnews. Carolyn has achieved renowned success since joining Stream in 2009, having contributed to the closing of over 370 transactions totaling five million square feet nearing $300 million, including seven investment sale projects totaling over $90 million. She currently serves as Managing Partner of the San Antonio office, providing leadership to the transaction specialist group, as well as overseeing the growth and development of the San Antonio market.

Shaw’s success can be attributed to her tireless passion and love for the industry. She points to her peers, colleagues, mentors and clients for playing an integral role in her thriving career thus far.

“I’m so lucky to work with great people inside and outside of Stream. I have amazing partners, clients and coworkers who make projects fun, and the collaboration that happens when we come together to accomplish a common goal is so rewarding,” said Shaw. “Because every transaction or project is different, I’m constantly learning and evolving. Redundancy doesn’t exist!”

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Shaw makes time to give back within her community and in professional organizations. In particular, she’s a committee member within Stream’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Committee, which not only provides leadership and guidance toward developing sustainable and ethical practices, but oversees the Women of Stream and Stream of Color committees, offering mentorship and career development to fellow Stream professionals.

It goes without saying that Shaw is a highly-regarded and inspirational leader within and outside of our industry, and Stream couldn’t be prouder. We’re certain that she’ll continue to shine in her professional and personal endeavors.

Stream warmly congratulates Carolyn on being named a 2020 Texas ICON!
