Santa Clarita, Calif. (March 27, 2019) – Sand Canyon Shopping Center, a 110,000-square-foot neighborhood center in Santa Clarita, California recently sold to Hutensky Capital Partners, a Connecticut based real estate fund manager.
“Sand Canyon Shopping Center is one of the most dominant neighborhood centers within the submarket and is poised to achieve even stronger sales as multiple new housing developments (approximately 2,900 homes) are completed close to the site,” said Michelle Schierberl, currently senior vice president at Stream Realty Partners. Michelle, alongside Donald Ellis, senior vice president, represented the seller, a privately held retail real estate operating company.
The center sits on 9.48 acres and is positioned at the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Sand Canyon Road, directly off the Antelope Valley 14 freeway. It is anchored by Vons and Rite Aid, as well as pad tenants Starbucks and Chase Bank. The center has more than 54,850 cars passing by daily. Hutensky Capital Partners plans to enhance the center’s value through lease-up.
