CanTex Capital purchased the retail center as a renovation and reposition development
DALLAS (August 21, 2019) – CanTex Capital, a Dallas based real estate investment and development firm, and Stream Realty Partners (Stream), a national real estate development, services, and investment firm, are pleased to announce the closing of Stemmons Center.
Stemmons Center is a 42,594 square-foot development located along the Interstate 35E frontage road just south of Inwood Road in Dallas. The location provides long-term development and repositioning opportunities given its proximity to the Design District and Medical District.
CanTex Capital has immediate plans to renovate the exterior of the project and transition the retail center to more showroom space. This repositioning will capitalize on the momentum of the Design District and provide a more affordable alternative while providing tremendous access and exposure along I-35. Stemmons Center will be managed by CanTex Capital’s affiliated property management company, Stemmons Management, with a focus on hands-on, efficient operations.
