Weldon Martin joins Houston office as Senior Vice President
HOUSTON, TX (December 15, 2020) – Stream Realty Partners (Stream), a full-service national real estate investment, development and services company, today announced that Weldon Martin has joined its office division as a Senior Vice President in the firm’s Houston office. In this role, Martin will continue to specialize in office tenant representation and will also be tasked with expanding Stream’s presence in the Houston office market, responsible for sourcing, winning and executing business across all service lines, including leasing, acquisition and development opportunities.

Prior to joining Stream, Martin spent seven years at CBRE, most recently as a First Vice President. While there, he handled more than 340 office lease transactions totaling over 2.2 million square feet on behalf of both tenants and institutional owners. Before joining CBRE, Martin represented office tenants at Avison Young. While there, he was named North American Rookie of the Year in recognition of his achievements.

Martin has been active in the local Houston community for years, serving as Board Chair & Founder of Champions for Children at Texas Children’s Cancer Center. Additionally, he acts as Board Member on the Cancer Center’s Advisory Board. Martin attended Baylor University on a four-year golf scholarship, graduating with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Martin briefly competed on the Adams Pro Golf tour before ultimately deciding to pursue a career in commercial real estate.
Stream’s Houston office currently leases and manages over 50 million square feet, making it one of Houston’s largest commercial real estate service providers. Stream has also been consistently recognized as a “Best Places to Work” by the Houston Business Journal.
