With its philosophy of thinking and acting like an owner, Stream Realty Partners has hired a new Vice President of Office Leasing in Houston to unlock the full potential of the area’s real estate assets.
Brian Strait just started at Stream, a national real estate services, development, and investment company. The native Houstonian will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities for clients while marketing and leasing commercial properties for private and institutional owners. He comes to the firm from Lincoln Property Company, where he spent nearly 12 years overseeing the leasing of approximately 1.7 million square feet of office space in nine properties throughout the Greater Houston area.
“I’ve been building relationships my whole career, and the opportunity to be part of a growing company and larger team that puts relationships first, then real estate, is really appealing to me professionally,” Strait said. “I’m excited for the chance to strategically find new office space for companies located in Houston or looking to move to Sugar Land, Westchase, and the North Loop submarkets.”
Strait earned a bachelor’s degree in government at The University of Texas at Austin before starting his career at Lincoln. He will be working in the Stream Houston office, which completed 414 transactions in 2020 for a total of 49.1 million square feet of leased and managed office and industrial space.

Strait is a licensed real estate salesperson in Texas and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and helping coach his kids’ Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association teams.
