DALLAS (Sept. 11, 2017) – Stream Realty Partners (Stream) – a national real estate development, services and investment firm, announces the promotion of Mica Hopkins to Director of Property Management for Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW).

As Director of Property Management, Hopkins’ responsibilities include the day-to-day operations and the growth of Stream’s DFW property management team and managed portfolio. In the DFW area, Stream’s property management division is responsible for more than 42 million square feet of industrial and office real estate product, and includes a team of more than 100 property management professionals.

“Mica’s true strength is her ability to lead a large team, and to identify and recruit top talent which was witnessed by the leadership she brought to her previous role in Stream’s corporate and project accounting division,” said Chris Jackson, regional managing partner for Stream Realty Partners. “The transition into property management will allow her to strengthen the client relationships she previously formed while leading the project accounting teams for Stream’s managed properties.”

Hopkins has been with Stream for a total of six years and has more than 10 years of commercial real estate experience. Most recently, she led a team of more than 100 degreed accountants and served as the project accounting lead for Stream’s extensive list of customers. Hopkins’ role in project accounting allowed her to work closely with Stream’s property management department on a national scale.

“Mica is an exceptional talent in many areas and has done a phenomenal job co-managing Stream’s corporate and project accounting teams,” said Liz Sheff, chief operating officer for Stream Realty Partners. “Her leadership and commitment to Stream’s culture and desire to enhance our service platform is evident in everything she does. We are most excited about Mica’s financial skills, and the level of expertise those skills will bring to the DFW property management department and beyond.”

Prior to joining Stream, Hopkins was an auditor at Grant Thornton for three years, and an Accounting Manager for E2M Partners.
