Stream Realty Partners has furthered its commitment to solidifying its presence in the Midwest by promoting its Chicago-based Executive Managing Director to Partner.
Patrick Russo will continue to oversee day-to-day activities at Stream Chicago while taking an ownership stake in the local operation. He joined Stream, a national real estate services, development, and investment company, three years ago and has grown the office to 40 professionals responsible for over 21 million square feet of office agency leasing and more than 12 million square feet of property management. Under Russo’s leadership, the Chicago office recently relocated to Fulton Market.
“I’m honored for this incredible opportunity to continue the job I committed to in 2019 and make Stream Chicago the most dynamic full-service operator in Chicago and the region,” Russo said. “I was motivated by the empowerment of our leaders as well as a platform that offers entrepreneurial professionals to think and operate differently. I love offering people the chance to change lanes, and now I can lead by example and help our transaction professionals capitalize on that entrepreneurial spirit.”
Russo said he is focused on continuing to cultivate the firm’s market coverage and talent in the office tenant representation, office property management, and industrial brokerage service lines. He said the firm will also focus on executing existing industrial development service line sites and continue to fill that pipeline.
Stream President Chris Jackson said Russo has proven himself to be a selfless leader and dedicated teammate. “Patrick was all in on Stream and his team from day one,” he said. “Working and traveling continuously to meet his new partners and forge strong relationships was his top priority. This is what Stream partnership is all about.”
Russo said one of his proudest accomplishments at Stream has been building relationships and having the opportunity to hire the highest caliber of talent in the industry and watch them grow and succeed.
“I’m so proud to call everyone at Stream Chicago a friend and partner on this journey,” he said. “I’m blessed and humbled to have been the first person who took a leap on the transactions side in Chicago. To look around the office today at all the talented individuals that have joined me is incredible.”
