A long-time Washington, D.C., commercial real estate expert has joined Stream Realty Partners’ growing office team.
Tim McCarty has signed on with Stream, a national real estate services, development, and investment company, as a Vice President. He will be responsible for sourcing, winning, and executing business across all service lines, including leasing, acquisitions, tenant representation, and development opportunities in a region where he grew up and has worked for more than 10 years. He comes to Stream from Akridge, where he was an Assistant Vice President.

After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration, McCarty worked as a government affairs intern and research associate before moving to Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as a tenant representative. During his career, he has completed more than 200 unique lease transactions resulting in more than $1 billion in aggregate lease value.

McCarty has been recognized as one of DCA Live’s NextGen Real Estate Leaders. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife, Ciara, in Alexandria, Va., near his childhood home.
Stream’s Washington, D.C., regional team leases and manages an office portfolio of over 11.2 million square feet. It currently has more than 60 employees and continues to expand.
