A Mississippi-based developer has purchased 28 acres in Lewisville for a new business park.
EastGroup Properties will build four industrial buildings with 350,000 square feet on the property along State Highway 121.
The CreekView 121 development will be marketed to small and mid-sized warehouse tenants.
“Our state of the art, multi-tenant, business distribution buildings and strategic location will target contractor services companies seeking warehouse-showroom space to service the growing rooftops in the area as well as other local, regional and national distributors seeking a high image location,” EastGroup’s vice president David Hicks said in a statement.
Dallas’ Stream Realty Partners has been hired to market the development. Blake Kendrick and Eric Crutchfield will oversee the leasing of the project.
Kendrick said the new business park has “visibility on Highway 121, in close proximity to great amenities, and in the path of dynamic growth.”
The Lewisville development is one of two new projects Jackson-based EastGroup is working on in the Dallas area.
EastGroup is also building a 276,000-square-foot, 3-building industrial project in Flower Mound called Parkview Commerce Center.
EastGroup is a real estate investment trust with 35.8 million square feet of properties.
It already owns more than a half dozen Dallas-area industrial properties.
One of the largest of its holdings in the area is the Valwood Distribution Center in Carrollton.
