Dan Harris Tapped to Lead New Service Offering and Drive Strategic DFW-Area Opportunities
DALLAS (Nov. 12, 2019) – Stream Realty Partners (Stream), a full-service national real estate investment, development, and services company, announced today the hiring of Dan Harris as managing director to lead its new office tenant representation real estate services division. In this new role, Harris will be responsible for growing Stream’s office tenant representation portfolio throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex.
“The time is right for Stream to grow both its office tenant representation offering and overall presence in the market,” said Chris Jackson, regional managing partner of Stream. “With such strong market fundamentals this economic cycle, we’ve had the necessary infrastructure and resources in place to deliver an exceptional service offering, but had not found the right cultural fit to launch the platform—until we met Dan.”
Alongside its established industrial tenant representation platform led by Managing Director and Partner Ryan Boozer, Stream will enter the market as an office tenant representation service provider with a growing portfolio encompassing +200 million square feet in assignments of industrial, healthcare, office, and retail leasing and management assets.
“We have been successfully representing industrial tenants for many years, but now is the time to grow our office tenant representation services in Dallas and grow nationally,” said Boozer. “The knowledge and relationships that Dan will bring to Stream will propel the growth trajectory that our industrial counterparts have achieved over the past few years.”
During his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Harris was instrumental in leading some of the Dallas region’s largest corporate assignments, such as Energy Transfer’s 130,000-square-foot headquarters consolidation; Sunoco LP’s 120,000-square-foot headquarters relocation; and, Altice USA’s 106,000-square-foot corporate relocation. A recognized leader within the industry, his expertise and strong track record of success led to his leadership role in Cushman & Wakefield’s Headquarters Advisory Group and Dallas Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award.
“Every service offering and growth initiative Stream has developed has been wildly successful,” said Harris. “The opportunity to lead and grow this offering as a complement to an already integrated firm, especially given Stream’s agility and strategic vision, make this the perfect opportunity.”
Harris also is actively involved in the community. For over 10 years, he has served as a leader in the Dallas Intergroup Association, which helps incarcerated men who struggle with alcohol and drug addiction as they prepare to re-enter society. Harris and his wife, Jenny, were recently co-presidents of the Genesis Women’s Shelter Young Leaders group, which raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for women and children in abusive situations.
