DALLAS (Dec. 12, 2017) – Stream Realty Partners (Stream) – a national real estate development, services and investment firm, represented Fortis Property Group in a recent lease transaction with CBRE for Alston & Bird, LLP for its new office space at Chase Tower.

Located at 2200 Rose Avenue, Chase Tower is one of the most iconic fixtures of the Dallas skyline. With its striking curved glass top and seven-story keyhole, the building’s 55-stories overlook the Dallas Arts District, the largest contiguous arts district in the nation.

Alston & Bird is leasing a portion of the 22nd floor and the entire 23rd floor, encompassing 36,081 square feet of office space for its Dallas operation.

“We have a strong base of national and regional clients that will benefit from the continued expansion of our Dallas office,” said Darren Hauck, partner-in-charge of Alston’s Dallas office. “We look forward to experiencing that growth in Chase Tower and the vibrant Dallas Arts District.”

Alston & Bird is leaving its current address at 2828 Harwood to join several other law firms in downtown that comprise more than 2.7 million square feet of space in or around the Arts District. The current retail and mixed-use developments along Ross Avenue have become a value and amenities alternative due to an abundance of building upgrades and capital improvements in the area.

Stream’s Managing Director, JJ Leonard, Executive Vice President, Matt Wieser and Associate, Jackie Smith represented Fortis Property Group in the transaction. Phil Puckett and Michelle Donaldson with CBRE represented Alston & Bird.

“My CBRE team was honored to represent Alston & Bird on their office lease at Chase Tower,” said Phil Puckett, executive vice president, CBRE. “It was a pleasure working with the owner, Fortis Properties and their leasing team, Stream Realty in getting this transaction completed. I know we are all very excited in seeing the coming renovations to Chase Tower. I know these great renovations are going to be a game changer for this property.”
