AUSTIN – February 17, 2026 – Stream Realty Partners, a national commercial real estate firm offering an integrated platform of services, announces that Derek Lewis has rejoined the firm as Managing Director, based in Stream’s Austin office. Lewis will focus on advising office occupiers across Central Texas, delivering strategic real estate solutions aligned with clients’ long-term business objectives.
Lewis returns to Stream after nearly a decade with Lincoln Property Company, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President. In that role, he led tenant representation initiatives while advising corporate clients on leasing, build-to-suit, purchase-and-sale, and sale-leaseback strategies. His return marks a homecoming, as Lewis previously spent eight years at Stream from 2008 to 2016.

Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Lewis built a background in public policy, working in both Texas and Washington, D.C. He served as a political appointee in the administration of President George H.W. Bush, with roles in the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Presidential Advance Team, and the Republican National Committee. After returning to Texas, he served as Executive Director of the National Council of Contractors Association, acting as the organization’s legislative liaison for its program initiatives.
