Stream Realty Partners (Stream), a national real estate services, development, and investment company, is pleased to announce its Chicago office has secured a long-term lease on behalf of Baum Revision with Chamberlain University, the largest nursing school in the U.S., for 75,000 square feet at Riverview at Roscoe (Riverview) located at 2718 W. Roscoe on Chicago’s North Side.

Adam Showalter, Managing Director at Stream, said, “We are seeing a great deal of interest at Riverview at Roscoe, from tenants seeking to transition from dense downtown buildings into more controllable, neighborhood office buildings. We are excited to welcome Chamberlain to this property and expand a health-conscious environment.”

Stream’s Showalter, Patrick Russo and Jessica O’Hara oversee the leasing and marketing of the property.

Riverview, the former WMS campus, was acquired through a joint venture of Chicago-based Baum Revision and Dallas-based Meridian Capital from Scientific Games Corporation in March 2020. The campus is currently undergoing major capital improvements, inclusive of an iconic rebrand to position the building as Riverview at Roscoe, a wellness oriented workplace along the Chicago river with a keen focus on integrating water, light and air in a LEED Platinum environment.

Scott Goldman, Principal with Baum Revision, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Chamberlain University to build a state-of-the-art facility where our nation’s future healthcare professionals will learn how to deliver exceptional patient care, especially during this critical time. We have tremendous admiration for the University’s mission and are honored that Riverview at Roscoe will play a critical role in the process.”

The campus offers flexible floor plates, 500 surface parking spots and provides future tenants with the potential to house a large team while creatively designing their ideal work environment. 2718 W. Roscoe currently has 40,000 square feet available and the adjacent building, located at 3401 N. California, features two floors totaling over 120,000 square feet with 16 foot clear heights.

Chamberlain, part of publicly traded for-profit education company Adtalem Global Education, will be relocating from their current location at 3300 N Campbell Ave, just east of Riverview at Roscoe. Their move will allow them to expand into four floors at Riverview.

An Adtalem spokeswoman said in a statement that the new campus “will be larger in size and include an enhanced learning environment with a number of new conveniences for both students and colleagues” and that it is expected to be ready for Chamberlain’s September 2021 session.

Chamberlain’s Chicago campus president, Simendea Clark, said in a separate statement, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue our mission of cultivating extraordinary health care heroes in Chicago’s beautiful Avondale community.”
