HOUSTON, TX – October 12, 2021 – Stream Realty Partners (Stream), a national real estate services, development, and investment company, announced today the promotion of Weldon Martin to Managing Director of its Houston Occupier Services division. In this new role, Martin will remain focused on providing best in class service to his existing clients along with the task of growing Stream Houston’s Office Occupier Services offering in the Houston market, along with coordinating efforts and collaborating with Stream’s 15 offices across the country.

Stream’s Office Occupier Services division has grown rapidly in 2021. As a result, Martin is intently focused on identifying and hiring talented real estate professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit that are seeking a platform to maximize their careers by rewarding hard work and creativity.  As a result, Martin has recently hired Collins Howell, Stewart Cartwright, and Travis Williamson as Associates to join the expanding team. Martin places a special emphasis and has a unique ability to establish ongoing positive relationships not only with his clients, but with the Houston brokerage community.

“Now is the optimal time for tenants to re-evaluate their overall real estate strategy,” said Martin. “Our team recently completed a full-floor transaction for a growing client that was able to achieve favorable economics, building signage, and flexibility they would not have been able to receive if they had chosen to wait for pandemic uncertainty to pass. In addition, we recently closed over 100,000 square feet of transactions in the Galleria submarket, further leveraging the tenant-friendly office environment. This is just the beginning and we are excited to grow our service line in Houston to continually deliver exceptional results for our clients.”

The Houston team’s expansion is just the latest in the current growth of Stream’s National Occupier Services Platform. Stream recently hired industry veteran Tiffany Winne, Executive Managing Director and Partner, to open and lead its Phoenix office. Winne brings 19 years of tenant representation experience and is considered one of the leading CRE professionals in the Phoenix market. In addition, Stream recently hired Joe Iatauro to launch its Program Management Services group, further expanding the Occupier Services offering for its clients. With the formation of this new service line, Stream can provide clients end-to-end management from facility planning to equipment to move-in.

“Being able to leverage the full power of Stream’s platform and not operate in silos is a true differentiator to our clients,” said Dan Harris, Managing Director of Stream’s National Office Tenant Representation team. “It is one of the big draws that brought our team over to Stream and we are continuing to grow this service line across the platform in all of our markets. Our clients need real estate advisors and partners who are nimble, flexible and are able to deliver. As a result, we are committed to building out our Occupier Services Platform in Houston and across the U.S.”
