Stream Realty Partners, a national real estate services, development, and investment company, continues its growth trajectory in Houston with the addition of an established commercial real estate professional to serve as a Vice President of Office Leasing.

Representing owners and landlords—including private and institutional investors—in the leasing and sales of office properties in the Greater Houston area, Matthew Seliger comes to the firm from Transwestern, where he served as a Vice President engaged in marketing, business development, and office leasing. He represented a portfolio of over 3 million square feet of Class A and B office space.

“The platform and culture that Stream encompasses allow for each team member’s contribution to be properly valued, which is very important to me working in such a naturally entrepreneurial industry,” Seliger said. “It is a firm full of like-minded, hard-working, and honest people, which makes it a place I’m excited to be a part of.”

During his more than 8.5-year tenure at Transwestern, Seliger is credited with helping the owner of the Hercules II building in the Clear Lake area complete a more than 65,000-square-foot lease and expansion for Axiom Space in the middle of the pandemic. He has worked with a host of clients including BioUrja Group, Buchanan Street Partners, Capital Commercial Investments, Equus Capital Partners, Pacific Oak Capital Advisors, Sidra Capital, and Songy Highroads. Seliger graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in communication studies before starting his career at JLL in Austin.

“Matthew is a fantastic addition to our team with an impressive track record in the commercial real estate market,” said Ryan Barbles, Managing Director of Stream Houston. “His unparalleled work ethic and strong real estate acumen set him apart from his peers. I’m confident Matthew will make an immediate impact on Stream Houston and our valued clients.”

Seliger is a volunteer member of the Houston Livestock Show’s Mutton Bustin’ Committee and serves as the co-chairman of the Texas Exes Houston Chapter Scholarship Committee. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Stream Houston has more than 5.5 million square feet in its office leasing portfolio. The firm has added several Vice Presidents to its Houston team in the last six months, including Tripp Pruett from Savills North America and Brian Strait from Lincoln Property Company. With more than 115 employees, the Houston location is Stream’s second-largest location as the company continues to expand its footprint across the U.S.
