CHICAGO (November 3, 2020) – Stream Chicago office brokers Adam Showalter, Patrick Russo and Jessica O’Hara were recently honored by CoStar with two CoStar Power Broker Quarterly Deal Awards for representing the #1 and #4 largest office leasing transactions in the Chicago market for 3Q 2020.

The transaction that garnered the #1 spot was the long-term lease the team secured on behalf of Baum Revision with Chamberlain University, the largest nursing school in the U.S., for 75,000 SF at Riverview at Roscoe (Riverview), located at 2718 W. Roscoe. The campus is currently undergoing major capital improvements, inclusive of an iconic rebrand positioning the property as Riverview at Roscoe, a wellness-oriented workplace along the Chicago river with a keen focus on integrating water, light and air in a LEED Platinum environment.

The team’s second CoStar Power Broker transaction placed #4 in the top 5 largest office leases, which was The Federal Savings Bank‘s 50,000 SF long-term lease signing at The Fields, a 23-acre, 1.5 MSF mixed-use campus that was the former Marshall Field’s warehouse. The Stream Chicago team represented the owner, Knickpoint Ventures, in conjunction with Baum Realty’s Ari Topper and Tyler Dechter. The project, located at 4000 West Diversey Ave. in Logan Square, is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation slated for completion in 4Q 2020.

“We’re thrilled to have been recognized by CoStar for two of the largest transactions in this quarter, and proud of our team and clients’ hard work to secure both transactions,” said Adam Showalter, Managing Director at Stream. “We opened our downtown office last summer and have worked hard these past 12 months to work with great partners. These leases are prime examples of the possibilities of creating opportunities during a challenging economic climate.”
