Inspiration. Fun. Collaboration. These three words are mentioned numerous times during the latest episode of “After Hours” that has two Austin creatives sounding off on everything from property marketing and career advice to what makes Stream different from its competitors.
Creative Director Taylor Green knows she talks fast and walks fast in the fast-paced commercial real estate environment. But she shares with Graphic Designer Lauren Perry how she takes time in her mornings to read, meditate, and get out to a trail–also a lunchtime ritual–so she can slow down and seek inspiration from nature. The colleagues admit their high-demanding roles sometimes require repetition but that strategizing and analyzing bring great value to their team and all their office and industrial properties across the Austin region. Lauren says that the fun work environment Taylor has created encourages collaboration rather than competition, something that inspires her as she learns the ropes as a newer designer on the team. The more than 40-minute conversation also has Taylor looking back at how she got into CRE and appreciating how Stream marketing operates on a local level but has a strong national backbone.
