What has been your proudest individual accomplishment at Stream so far and why?
One of the most exciting things that I played a role in accomplishing was the first investment that I made at Stream (and in my career) in 2011. It was an office building that we purchased in Houston that later sold for a large profit. The success of the investment was fun, but the best part was believing enough in ourselves to move forward at a very uncertain time and achieving returns that were greater than any of us expected.

We have made tremendous strides over the last five years to grow the company while continuing to maintain our culture. I’m most excited about watching what all our great people are able to accomplish. Guiding clients through very turbulent times in the office environment, then seeing them create wealth when we come out the other side.

What has been your proudest individual accomplishment at Stream so far and why?
It’s not the most lucrative accomplishment, but winning the leasing assignment for The Pines, purchased by Nuveen, felt good. We spent several months strategically trying to expand our business with Nuveen, and when we were awarded The Pines, they offered the leasing assignment to Stream without pitching. It was the first time, for me, a strategic pursuit of that nature was rewarded.
